The stark white barked forest
All tragic to the moon
The sapphire misted mountains
The hot golden hush of noon
Green tangle of the brushes
Where lithe lianas coil
And orchids deck the treetops
And ferns the warm (d)ark soil...

This is a poem of note.
I was immediately taken with both your diction and rhythm, not to mention your rhyme. You manage to evoke the feeling of temperature very well, with the textures you employ, as well as colours.
This poem has it all.
I'm now going to check out some more of your work. |
