A 7 month long relationship is something of which I’ve always dreamed
I didn’t think love could last this long, from what I had seen
But so much has changed way to fast
It’s so hard for me to believe that 7 months have passed

I still remember, when you wrote to me Behind My Angel Glow
The same day, we officially united, and how snugly you fit the holes
I had begun to think, my prophecy would go unfulfilled
Until your words of love, into my heart, gently spilled

Almost instantly, a revolution began
Suicidal notes, and poems went into the trashcan
I felt renewed born again, and truly alive
What my heart wanted from you, I could no longer hide

I had searched for a heart, to call my own
And a love that would repair the scars that I’ve shown
Seeking shelter, within a tender embrace
Who in return, wanted only the same things

And I admit, I haven’t been perfect
And I’ve said a few things that I still regret
But, I’m thankful for the forgiveness of your heart
And I hope that now is the time, I can remove the pins that want to push it apart

Seven months in one relationship, for me is an impressive feat
And now it’s time for your demons, to meet their defeat
Drawing my sword, once more from my side
It’s time to show you, in me you can forever confide

And I’m that I’m not going to be a bad memory
That I’m going to love you for all of eternity
The treasures of my heart, are being laid at your feet
As I always promised they would be, it’s all yours to reap

You planted within me a simple seed
And it’s blossomed into your white rose, and I want to fulfill your needs
Just like you did with me though, I know I’m going to have to help pull some weeds
As I wrap my arms around you, starting this journey, upon my knees

I’m locking all the doors
As my heart has begun to sound the alarms
Knowing this is going to be my ultimate test
Hoping I can help lay the bad memories to rest

I’m hoping that this key, I was given on the day I was born
Embedded in my heart, protected despite all times it was ripped and torn
Serves the same purpose as the one, God gave to you to open me
I hope it opens the chains that bind you, and will set you free
