Array ( [sid] => 4689 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My Gem Lover [time] => 2002-10-06 20:44:32 [hometext] => This took some time to write, the first real gent after my marriage. a rare gem lost...

I had met George a year after I left my ex. husband. (about 3yrs ago to this time) He made me feel so good, such a wonderful gentleman, friend, and lover. We had some plans, but not concrete, as life goes, for he had some issues in life, he had to complete before making any moves to a more permnant relationship. It broke my heart, but then he had to move anyways, due to his job. He truly made me feel like a woman, but also I knew I had so much to give, I have what it takes to make it all work. He was a healer to me, as to my leaving the husband, so this man really was a wonderful, true blessing for me and him too. I will never forget him. Take care my dear G. S. I hope I meet someone like him, again, only to stay this time. :)

[bodytext] => Thoughts of you still come around
I must say, it was truly beautiful, for this short time
You and I, when we met, like two lost souls, Found
We enjoyed our time together, going places, daily routine chime
Your life enriched mine, a gentleman, so sweet you were
How you made me feel like a woman, your soft gentle touch
Just took my senses to a higher realm, all my pulses did stir
Never did I feel this way, my heart had never clutched
Such sensual love, passion, all of this I gave in return
We talked of long down the road, about our lives, family things, lovers share
But then you received your service papers, time not wasting, or to burn
You had other issues too in your life to take care
You were not quite ready for my never-ending love of forever
A daughter to college, the ex not letting you go
You said “I love you” crying on my shoulder, he knew this would sever
All we had planned long down our path,
I could have gone with him, but his life issues a measure, my heart in tow
Such a blessing I had of a short time in my life of my lover, I feel no wrath.
He gave me one last kiss, I couldn’t get enough
I wanted him to stay, but duty calls, I, alone again…
I will never forget him, a gem in the rough
He and I, shared something wonderful and true
One that took me to unknown planes, our emotions did embue
Memories serve a lifetime, this one is no exception, will always be
Embedded forever as the man who loved all of me
My dear, you gave me such loving passion, this memory never ends
I miss you, and love you my friend, my lover, always
Thank you for making me feel good again, those passions come about completely.
