Having actually read your poem, Steel, i found it to be very competently written, very rhythmic and totally political.

I agree with the facts in this well written poem. I think that the US of A , If all that we read and see is true then the ordinary soldier has been badly let down. Was the oil such a big temptation?

Yes I feel your right and this has been an out right shame because many of our soldiers are above and beyond what has occured it sickened me. I still support our soldiers ( except that sick few who were touched in their heads but I nolonger accept our president and will be glad for elections once again. Im tired of being lied to

Oh c'mon, Steeleyes. Just because Donald Rumsfeld spanks the monkey to those photos doesn't make it porn!:)

But I have some good news (and no it's not about car insurance). Bush's approval rating is down to 46%. Hooray!

Still, I really do wonder why 4.6 out of 10 Americans still like the bastard.

I read the poem and I thought it was good. You explained how you and many other Americans feel. I believe something needs to be done about this before it happens again. ~Stace~

This so called battle for 'freedom' in the Middle East has left many nations reeling with disgust, my own, the UK, included... It seems democracy has been thrown aside in favour of oil, a three letter word that means the earth to Bush and Blair, a shame that the most powerful nation on earth is being run by a clown, and that the UK's PM is just the monkey willing to follow... an excellent poem, with a very strong and important message.
