Array ( [sid] => 46793 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Here it is again... [time] => 2004-05-09 14:54:39 [hometext] => I wrote this almost a year ago. I didn't change the way I wrote it by putting it into stanzas or anything. It was the flow of my emotions that day so I decided to leave it that way. I hope you like it* [bodytext] => Here it is again
Once more.
Wide-eyed morning.
Bleak and black.
Routine: Get up, Dress,
Learn to smile
Before the descent.
Start the day right
Better yet...Not at all.
[Hush now, vicious voice of woe]
Think positive where possible,
If it ever stops
Tick-Tick-Ticking over
Mind - Matter.
And some sweet indifference
Mundane and insignificant.
In the bigger picture
The reflection's getting thinner
[I wish]
In terms of what's to offer.
From here
Spiralling
A whirl of doubt, fear, loathing.
How to bear 'inadequate'
On such shoulders?
Surely incapable as well as.
Comparisons thick and fast
And still paler for the want.
Another day, perhaps, to shine?
But don't count on that
Or anything, anyone.
Self-sufficient in spite of lacking.
Wanting, needing but never reaching.
Don't let them in here,
The sins,
See for themselves what it is
That induces hate so.
Build the wall
Until hidden.
Oh sweet bliss of disappearance.
Sweet silence
Where even thoughts come undone
And slumber into
Deep nights of continuous...
Nice dream, Nice dream.
Cruel, cruel reality
That brings me here again...
Wide-eyed morning
Black and bleak,
Bruised and blue. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 144 [topic] => 48 [informant] => reilt [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Wow, you did a good job with this. I'm taken away, I don't know what to say besides Wow. Keep up the good work. -Stace-
