You can't know how I feel
You can't know whats going on
When you're there you are left alone
everything is falling down
All that is is fading out
then we understand our problems
Its just too late to do anything about it
our nations against us
our people can't seem to agree
plead among friends, die in the hands of enemies

Now we move on
life is only a progression
haulting the inevitable is only endearing
then you know we are growing
we will become stronger
it only gets worse BEFORE....IT GETS BETTER.
our nations against us
our people can't seem to agree
plead among friends, die in the hands of enemies

Dumped on the wasteland
searching for more
living on an edge
an edge with no more
moving on costly ground
technology has all been lost
we are back to the age
the age of reasoning
our nations against us
our people can't see to agree
plead among friends, die in the hands of enemies
our nations against us
always against us
what to do
do it right but we're always wrong
how can we win
when no one can seem to agree
how do we live..how can we plead with for our lives
we drag our souls across the scorched earth
only to die in the hands of the enemy.

It may seem dark right now, but the future will be bright. We have a lot more advantages now that we used to. I hate to see our countries young men and women die in a war against people without faces... and against a country without a name... and against a religion that doesn't technically even exsist... but we will survive, and we will make it. Slowly but surely!!! Thanks for sharing this piece... it made me think tonight. This was a good write...
