let's do something
so unlike us and
go to the ocean
for the summer
walk along the beach
holding hands
feel the warm sand
beneath our feet

we'll don our
wetsuits and explore
beneath the sea
eat shrimp and ice cream
whenever we please
leave behind our
normal day to day lives
forget all of our worries
if only for a while

Ice cream under the sea....that's a vivid picture. Lol, a pleasant read and a wild concept. I loved it

Aren't fantasies delightful. Gives us some place to go to when we are bored or lonely. Mine is at the top of a mountain with a beautiful melted ice stream and all the wild animals around. Big roaring fire and lots of hot coffee laced with brandy. LOL

Nice vivid picture of a wishful future during summertime.

I'm not too keen on shrimp and ice cream though - I'd probably throw up . . .
