But somehow
I’ll still find ways
To love once more.

And I cried again.
But somehow
You still found ways
To apologize once more.

Just one more time.
And it wont be the last.
Because rain covered days
Are made perfect for dieing.

We stood together
In a room full of daisies.
You wore your green-collar shirt
And I my paisley pale pink,
We were both feeling lazy
From the long day post.

Holding me close,
You looked outside,
Looked up at the sky.
Calmly whispered in my ear,
“It looks like rain.

Oh God, I thought,
Let it pour down hard,
Smoosh my cold bare feet in the ground,
Rain covered days,
Made perfect for dieing.

So we ran outside
And danced to far away places
So slow...
I looked right in your eyes
And uncovered all your missing faces
Under millions of dark glazed clouds
And the sound of your voice
When you said, “this won’t last

I hugged you close
And we shared one last laugh,
About what?
I don’t know.

I moved away
From your soaking wet chest
And your face disappeared
Down into the earth.

And I fell short to the ground
And started to yell out loud,
“I did the best I could do!,
What more do you want?

We screamed again
But somehow
Found time for quiet talks
Once more

And you left again
But somehow
Found your way back to me
Once more

It can only take one more time
And mark it
This will be the last
Because all these rain covered days
We can’t share anymore,
Are made perfect for dieing.

Whoa, this one scarred me because I can see myself writing this and relating to it! Very scarry just how close that is to my thinking and this poem. Nice.

Love not false those who lie, let them drift away from our lives as if they had died. Remember not, the bad and the wrong, but seek a better and stronger song.

Thank you for sharing, I have walked your path.
