Before the blade touched her skin
She thought of how she hated everything about her life

She drew the knife across her arm
And thought of all the stressful things
She knew that this cause her harm

She moved the knife away
And saw the blood coming down
She knew there would be a scar that would stay

She knew she couldn't tell anyone
She knew they wouldn't understand
About what she felt and why she wanted to run

As she stared at her arm
She could feel the stress leaving
Until the next time she wouldn't be alarmed [comments] => 3 [counter] => 230 [topic] => 32 [informant] => xxapples [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
