[title] => One-Sided Love (To A Girl)
[time] => 2004-05-07 17:09:09
[hometext] => This is a poem I wrote speaking to a girl named Andrea Stalinescu at my school. The note at the end is so true. Don't forget to read it.
[bodytext] => It feels like I'm being pushed away, Further away from your love. You're less loveable every day: What's happened to my dove? What has tried my lover so? You've shut me off, closed the door! When can you let me know? Ever minute that passes, you hurt me more! And yet, through all this hurt and pain, I'm still longing for your love! Become the girl you were again, Once again be lovely, dove! You've shunned my love, and treated me wrong. Above me forms a darkened cloud. One-sided love for so, so long That now I'm slowly fading out...... Note: In the words of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, "If, as I die, I love, pray let me die!" or "Let me die, but let me die loving!"
