Secrets between Us, I feel like a Stranger
You won't let Me in I know not Why.
Hopeful always that You may Change I Open
My Arms and let You back in again.
I sense Your Scared, Locked Up in Your own Sorrows, give Me a Glimpse let Me hold You and Make You feel Secure My Daughter.
I will be Your Pillow I will catch every single one of Your Tears, don't be Afraid, for You I will always be here.
Rest Your Head on My Shoulder I will take this Terrible weight You've been carrying, I'll make things better for You, this I Promise.
Now close Your Eyes and Dream of Angels, Pale Blue Skies and Colorful Rainbows.,
I will hold Vigil all Night My Child, rest Your weary body till Morning, I will be here when You Awaken, Love Mother. I went through this stage with my own mother. Maybe I was just rebelling, or maybe I was so hurt inside that I wanted to hurt those closest to me, but the feelings past. And I'm happy to say that my mother is now my best-friend. I hope that the same thing happened with you and your daughter! This was a beautiful write!!!
