''Feel''

Contributed by amos on Saturday, 5th October 2002 @ 05:30:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

My eyes are full of fantasy
there upon the snow covered trees
is the only light
there I see you running away
what is it I fear
that I can't speak out loud
I'm too wrong to right
I've fallen in deceit
only thought that comes to me...
HOWS IT GONNA BE
WHEN YOUR NOT THERE FOR ME
Hows it feel
WHEN YOU FADE AWAY

I'm falling from this place
Hell is near, I'm gone for this
bring me back, you will be missed
never again never again
never again will I be *****
so...HOWS IT GONNA BE
WHEN YOUR NOT THERE FOR ME
hows it feel
WHEN I FADE AWAY

You can't know
I'll never be able to tell you
I feel I should let you in
but is it worth the price of admission?
Will it be just dejection, and far from satysfaction
no more dreams in the wake of you
just a fever of pain, a shiny smile in a grim cold world
SO HOWS IT GONNA BE...SO HOWS IT GONNA BE..
YOU TELL ME...HOWS IT GONNA BE..
WHEN YOUR NOT THERE FOR ME
HOWS IT FEEL...
WHEN WE START TO FADE AWAY.

I live by the philosophy that if I love someone to tell them today, just in case I don't get the chance to tomorrow. (I wrote "Just in Case" about that) But I know of a lot of people who are so afraid of rejection that they never say a word. It's sad really, because you never will know what could have been unless you say something. This was a great write and I think it summed up those feelings very well. Thanks for sharing it.
