Array ( [sid] => 46432 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => You've Learned [time] => 2004-05-06 17:21:47 [hometext] => this is about being able to let go of certain things in your life, also about letting go of love and letting yourself cry. [bodytext] => I’ve been helped up, and I’ve been let down. This year it feels like my whole world has been switched around. I’m now a person I never wanted to be. And I care. I care. I was so much happier before. Before I met you, before you left me. When there was just a you. And somewhere out there, there was simply just a me. Ironically, I let “love get the best of me. And I don’t need it anymore; I’m running away from the world, because I wont take this anymore. But you’ve lived, and you’ve learned. And you’ve loved, and you’ve decided to be hateful towards the word. I would highly recommend letting go. Don’t hold for too long. It’s so much more alarming, to find out that someone wants to love you, than to be with them and find out that they want to leave you. They want to leave you for someone else to lie to. Someone else to hold on to. Someone else to promise they will never let go of, someone else to say “I love you to, and most of all someone else who will hate you as much as they do. As if they think they haven’t given you enough. I understand how your heart feels, I understand the pain you’ve been put through. It may seem petty to so many others, but your own true pain is measured in the extent of how you cope and decide to take it when it’s laid in front of you. So next time someone hurts you, but tells you they don’t want to see you cry. Well I say cry on. Tears don’t come in measurable amounts. Tears don’t come from wanting pity from a person who’s abandoned you. Tears come from the inside; they’re delivered straight from your feelings. And your heart is where your feelings are held, so delicately and fragile. So when you claim sickness from a broken heart, let the feelings pour out, let the tears rain down, this can only be the beginning, this could only seem like the best part.

I don't entirely agree. When some one hurts me, I struggle just as evry one else does, then I move on and learn from it. Life's lessons are always hard, but how else do you learn to live life? Heartache teaches me how to be a better friend to others, because I don't want them to feel heartache.
