My dog is very smart you see
instead of going outside,
he sits on the toilet
to have a pee.

The second stanza is supposed to read,
"HE READS BOOKS BY HIMSELF
AND WHEN HE'S DONE,
HE PUTS THEM
BACK ON THE SHELF."
