It makes for an interesting day.
If there's other people around,
They never seem to want to stay.

First their are my Uncles.
Boy those guys can eat.
They always load the cooler,
With several kinds of meat.

Never mind the blessing.
It's get it while you can.
Eating times a war zone.
And you need a battle plan.

I reached across the table,
To give the ribs a try.
I recieved two broken fingers,
And an elbow to the eye.

Then there's my two cousins.
The loud ones of the bunch.
Things tend to get really messy,
When they are eating lunch.

Those two eat like pigs
And there really really mean.
They throw potatoe salad
And make projectiles out of beans.

They took a bowl of whip cream.
And dumped it on the wife.
I'm really kind of ashamed to say,
I never laughed so hard in my life.

But she made them two sorry,
She caught them by the fence.
Then she took some super glue
And glued them to a bench.

I have to say the worst of all,
Would have to be my brother.
He likes to drink lots of beer.
I mean one after the other.

He'll sit there and he'll giggle.
Then spread his legs apart.
Then he turns to face you
And fills the air with those beer farts.

I know his favorite beverage,
Is that Rocky Mountain Coors.
I just wish that he would keep,
The reprocussions in his drawers.

Well now that's my family.
I love each in there own way.
But still the best part of it all,
Is when we get to end the day.

How very funny and a lot more. I wish I had a family like yours. I'm the black sheep in mine, I have such a wonderful time (all by myself, that is!)
The have all grown old, and quiet, reserved, and sophisicated in the world.
I'd love to attend one of yours.....where everyone seems to have so much fun!
Funny Funny Funny Poem
You write great humor indeed
