bringing downpours of tears from heavens' broken tomb.
In those times when jesters fail to find laughter.
Roses refuse to bloom in faded dying sunsets' gloom.

A time that stood still leaving broken hearts unmended.
Selflessly fighting a battle that couldn't avoid being selfish.
As no tears seem able to find your eyes when needed.
Always finding a new mask beneath the one just shed.

When loved ones abandon and god stops answering.
If even darkness' shadow fades to rasping laughter.
And all the chivalrous knights fail to save even themselves.
Everything twists to outright pain that won't depart your haggard life.

Living when depression won't befriend your miserable life;
Not even able to find yourself in the bottom of a bottle.
Appeasing stern enticements still won't satisfy the void inside,
and the emptiness so callously playing Russian roulette with your heart. Powerfully moving. So much despair here, but said with such wisdom. Heartbreaking.

Excellent portrayal of lost souls and lives. Must be a deep chasm of blackness that is hard to ever climb out of. I have seen people succeed though. Sadly so many don't even try and get lost in that black aloneness.
