Not so long ago,
When my sleeve slipped up,
Only to show you pain?

Remember how the lines twisted,
And turned all the way up my arm?
Remember how you turned away,
And ignored the things you saw?

Remember how you looked into my eyes,
And saw something strange?
You saw my look of desperation,
But ignored it just the same.

Remember that you saw these things,
Remember how you ignored them,
Remember how my eyes did plead,
Remember how you shunned them.

you have decided not to see,
all the pain that lives in me,
you have decided that I am not worth it,
you decided that it didn’t matter anymore.

You chose to ignore,
While I had to endure,
You chose to laugh,
While I was left to cry.

The thing you didn’t want to see,
Its consuming me,
The thing you didn’t want to see,
Its killing me.

This secret that lives inside of me,
Its too heavy to carry anymore.
I tried to call to you for help,
But you kept silent.

Thanks for staying silent,
Just like always,
I could always count on you for that,
Even if for nothing else.

Thanks for not caring,
Thanks for just staring,
Thanks for just watching,
As I slowly died.

I sympathize... I have gone through the same thing... Everyone ignored... But for some reason that satified me. I felt so alone, but craved isolation.
I really like this poem and I hope you continue as well as sustain. Kepp writing.
