Come undone.
Unravelled without warning.
You are still my dreams
And I am torn,
Crumbling into ruin.
My descent comes before
You reach your heights.
I'm so tired, You're so cruel.
We chase our tails
And fuel our fires with fury.
I'm just embers and ashes
In the heat of your resistance,
Indifference.
I've followed you blind
Until suffered more
Than needed to.
Falling apart it seems,
I decay into the blue
And you...
You are still intact,
Sealed and wrapped,
Bound by what
We cannot undo. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 22 [informant] => reilt [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

hum, this feels like a small sliver of the story... like too many dramas you couldn't really fit in this one... but good writing! ;0)

remy is right (thank you for commenting)...this is only a slice of the story...about a time in my life when i met someone who i thought was the one. it's a long story but one from which a lot of poems were born...many of them with reference to galway or november (you may have read some poems mentioning these)...well they are all about that time and him and all the different and varying emotions to do with. thanks for reading and commenting. i really do appreciate it. love and hugs...dee*

"bound by what we can't undo"

An awful restraint you phrased so poignantly. A sad, and interesting write--a very well-spoken poem.
