I see the rocks, along the shore the caves.
I hear us splashing out at sea,
And I wonder what happened to you and me.

The scene shifts and we're in the backyard,
We're sword-fighting with poles, our faces marred,
Running around shouting war cries with our friends,
We all swore then that it'd never end.

Time flies past and we all went separate ways,
You and I stood together to face the new days.
We grew up, and the tide just swept us along,
Moved in with our father, just trying to belong.

Then it seems we both changed overnight,
All we could do was quarrel and fight.
Knowing we couldn't go back, I left home,
Saying I just needed to be left alone.

When I come to visit, I never stay long,
I don't say it, but everything's wrong.
Between you and I, it will never be the same,
I don't know, sister; but that's a crying shame.

Beautiful. Reminds me of me and my sisters, though Vicci and Sarah were usually trying to knock me out with the pole, not playing with me lmao.

Your sis
