Sometimes, I wish and pray, looking for some sign.
When it seems like a million rocks are in your path.
And air seems too thin to let me breath, maybe life's wrath?

Every forced smile feels like a thousand needles in your face;
with every pain cured, hopeless, when ten more take it's place.
No one ever has a hand to lend but looks to your shoulder to cry on.
My world sees dark and gray, when tears won't flow, drawn in crayon.

The bottom, sometimes, seems so far above my head;
and still here I am drowning, when feet are bound by lead.
When it feels like the only thing left is dying,
but you feel to weak to even attempt trying. [comments] => 9 [counter] => 197 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Black13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 13 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

This is such a strong statement of empathy. You have a good heart, my friend. Thank you.
We are all here to hold each other up, aren't we? There is always a purchase. I especially like the image of the tears drawn in crayon.
Nice work.

this is very deep and powerful.... i like this line best...

"Sometimes, I wish and pray, looking for some sign."

Cause I do that all the time... but even when you think you are getting some sort of sign its seems like you dont really even know what it is pointing too... :) :) :)

Beautiful write

especially:

"No one ever has a hand to lend but looks to your shoulder to cry on.
My world sees dark and gray, when tears won't flow, drawn in crayon."

I know how this feels all too well...
