Shunned into isolation
Where your own thoughts can drive you insane
A painful reminder of the soul's starvation

Exploring the depths of the soul
Discovering lost ambitions and faded dreams
Reliving painful memories
Left with personal insanity and inside screams

Society left you alone
With thoughts forbidden to another's ear
Overbeared by your own intimacies
Drowning in your unfallen tears

Deprived of everlasting hopes
A soul starved for satisfaction
Keeping untold truths and withheld fears
For fear of an unwanted reaction

Lost dreams, untold fears
Unhappiness is no longer unknown
The soul cries and recieves no answer
