Array ( [sid] => 45809 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Living On Borrowed Time [time] => 2004-05-01 23:29:27 [hometext] => This was written on November 1, 2003 for a very dear friend named Nisey ( Denise ). She has a rare disease and is literally living on borrowed time... I didn't know it at the time... but the 1st 3 lines are the opening lines of her eulogy... plz comment.. [bodytext] => From the minute we're born until we die
We're all living on borrowed time
Minute by minute, we're all dying inside
Never knowing from day unto day what trials and sufferings we may face
Or even what fate awaits us at the end of this life
'Cause we're all living on borrowed time

So I ask of thee, dear Lord, to please...
Fill my cup, Lord... with life so sweet and free
Fill my cup, Lord... with love so abundantly
Fill it to the top, Lord... let it be overflowing
Shining with your light through the dark storms of life knowing
We're all living on borrowed time

Lord, help me to make it through another day to firmly stand
With my hope resting in your hands
Lord, help me to find faith in a whispered prayer
And joy in someone who cares
Lord, help me to find peace within the troubled depths of my heart
Where my life's not broken or torn apart
These gems of life I'll treasure forever within this heart of mine
'Cause I'm just living on borrowed time
