Running, running from the past
The past is faster then my feet
I can’t run anymore
I can’t
Running, running but getting further from the goal
People are running past me trampling on me
Pushing me
Tripping me
Why do I run from the unrunable?
The past stabs like thousands of stabbing knives
The dark is catching up with me
I can hear the screams of the desperate, the hurting
But I can’t find them in time!
Please someone find a light
Help me find them before it is too late
Please

i get this feeling. its horrid, but i hope you have got over it or it will go soon. it would be pointless for me to not admit that my problems are mucking me up, so i won't, i'll be open.
i hate it when other people suffer from their lives! you'll get through it, from your poems that i've read, you sound like you can do it, if thats what you really want. best wishes.

from deathdrop.

Ahhh...life is scary indeed! Will we ever find them? I liked this poem because of the quick pace read it was. It's an urgent poem and worth applause. Good job!

I sometimes feel I am running from the past, but its gaining on me with every step.
This is emotional and very well written, I can get a real sense of the emotion in the poem when I read it. Enjoyed this

Love Dawny x

My past is far from pretty, but I found that it will come close to killing you the way to beat the past is to turn face it, and let it hit you full force, then when you get back up, look to see what you can learn from it.
