If it comes back to you, it was meant to be. If it doesn't, it was never love. This one never came back... [bodytext] => A second to hope for,
A second to cherish.
I’ll wait, patiently for the moment
I can awake to the sight of your face
And softly whisper,
“Good morning.

That second I remember,
That second I cherish.

Your eyes, your lips, your touch
I’ll miss as each day passes by.
Through your tears and smiles
I’ll be here...
waiting.
Know you always have a friend
to count on in me.
As you leave, and go your other way,
Take with you all the memories we’ve had,
Good and bad,
And use those experiences to make you
a stronger person than you are today.

When you smile
I’ll be smiling with you,
Because I know you are happy.
And that’s what counts most for me.
Try not to forget about me
Because I will never forget about you.
You’ve done so much for me
During the months we had.
To say thank you is an understatement,
But that is all I have to offer.

Before I met you,
I was a blank piece of canvas
Waiting to be painted by you.
And with each brush of your smile,
And each dab of your kiss,
You’ve created a masterpiece
that nobody can ever duplicate.
As the world sees me now
Take pride in what you have created,
Because what they see in me
I’ve learned all from you.

There are many things to say
And do for you,
But for now, I’ll put them on hold.
Our book is closed
But not yet finished.
We’ve only completed the first chapter.
And when the time is right,
We’ll start a new chapter,
And embark on new experiences.
That second I hope for
That second I will cherish.
