The boundless sky above
Drifted over the tranquil trees.
The sun blazed upon the endless horizon
As the stream ran by with absolute serenity.
The towering green giants brimming with peace
Swayed softly in the silent breeze.
The open fields,
The shady grass
Echoed freedom
And liberty.
A quiet place
Undying thoughts
Mimicking dreams of love unbound.

Ah, how well nature stands as symbolism for things human. None too bad here, Carrie.

Reminds me of camping at this place north of where I live and how my aunt and I find a common solace there. Sometimes just the two of us hang out and drive up there just to talk for a while, and sometimes just to go, turn around and come back home.
Great poem.
Love,
