I always hoped we’d be that way one day
And as she wiped the eyelash from his cheek
She said I love you
And he smiled as they walked on

This park holds so many memories
But none of them belong to me
I just wish the clock hadn’t burned those seconds away
Maybe we could’ve made a memory
In our own special way

I miss you, just because I can
I always hoped that you’d be here with me
And as I wipe these bright tears from my cheek
I’ll say I miss you
And I’ll die as I walk on

This park holds so many memories
But none of them belong to me
I just wish the clock hadn’t burned those seconds away
Maybe we could’ve made a memory
In our own special way

But we are so many miles apart
And we are separated by our hearts

Summer’s too short and winter’s too cold
These nights without you are breaking my bones
And I can’t hold on too long
But I’ll do my best to keep going on

But we are so many miles apart
And we are separated by our hearts [comments] => 6 [counter] => 194 [topic] => 34 [informant] => paper-heart-hero [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 22 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )
