who eat away at my lonely soul
leaving me with my chemical tears,
they burn holes in my hand as i try to catch
my stained innocence.

I run around in circles with myself,
wondering if tomorrow has a brighter sun,
or if the dreams i cry with will die
much like my soul.
Shadows crawl like whispers in the dark,
they search for my dieing hope
and burned through hands
my chemical tears rule over.

You see this troubled little girl
sitting alone with demons on her shoulder,
screetching,taunting and eating
in her ears.
Her eyes are broken with hate
as the world moves around in slow motion.

Left to fight the demons that crawl,
i quiver alone pleeding with the laughter
that echos deep in my soul.
My chemical tears fall from grace,
staining the innocence i forgot.

It sounds like you are tormented by inner demons. Very sad yet unique from the title to the ending. A different perspective on tears and I liked it very much.

I can relate to this. I know similar demons, and I know this lonely feeling. Some of the imagery here is delicious though, I must admit.
