Array ( [sid] => 45184 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My Prayer To God [time] => 2004-04-28 01:18:20 [hometext] => this poem and all that i have ever written pertain one way or another toe alzheimers, a disease that needs to be eradicated [bodytext] => dear God i sit here thinking of this gift you gave
please let people read it feel it understand it
do not let this gift go wasted let it reach all
please make my words count and help those who need it
this is my prayer to God

as i grow with your wisdom let me be the best i can
through all your guidance show me how to love
show me how to teach what i learn and feel
and i beg that i may always remain humble
this is my prayer to God

when people dont understand what i say give me patience
when they dont like what i write give me understanding
show me the way i should be going never let me stray
let me see her through her eyes so i know what i write
this is my prayer to God

i ask these of you to keep me going the best way so
i may never willingly betray anyones trust
this way with your guidance i may fulfill your teachings
but in the meantime i am human and i do make mistakes

The tenderness of you spirit shows through these verses... So beautiful. Well said, and Amen!

God definitely hears such a humble heart.
