Array ( [sid] => 45169 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Return... Return Sweet Love [time] => 2004-04-27 22:55:29 [hometext] => Almost could be a country song... lol... I had written the bulk of this years ago... this afternoon I kept hearin' a noise I thought was something comin down the road... but it was only the wind... the idea sparked from there... comment if u plz... [bodytext] => I've roamed a lotta miles in this lifetime
Just searchin' for my best friend...
Never findin' who I've been searchin' for...
My gas tank is nearly empty now
As I've traveled a lotta miles...
And yet... I've gotta lotta miles to go
If I'm gonna find my sweet baby... my sweet love... somehow

Return... return sweet love
Please return home to me
I'll be a waitin'... down by the creek and the big old oak tree

I've just gotta talk my sweet baby... my sweet love... into...
Returnin' home again
'Cause I've roamed a lotta miles to get my baby... my love back again
Though I don't know why...
I still just keep holdin' on...
To a memory that's been long gone
But I just want my true love... back home again

Return... return sweet love
Please return home to me
I'll be a waitin'... down by the creek and the big old oak tree

Now... I've roamed life's highways and it's byways too...
Just searchin' for my sweetheart
But I've gave upon... my search for you...
'Cause I fear... it's tearing my world apart

Return... return sweet love
Please return home to me
I'll be a waitin'... down by the creek and the big old oak tree

The storms of life have been ragin'
I'm so lonely without you in my life
I feel like I'm agin'
'Cause my heart has been emptied...
Without a love that's true

Return... return sweet love
Please return home to me
I'll be a waitin'... down by the creek and the big old oak tree

Now... my heart hears the wrestlin' of the leaves
Down by the creek... under that big old oak tree
And I'm anticipatin' a reunion of these two hearts..
Once united by love...
But now are worlds apart...

But as I gaze up into the big old oak tree...
I find only...
It must have been the wind...
Returning... home to me... again...

You should send that to your favorite country singer. It really would make a great song. Probably a chart topper, if I may be so bold.
Bravo and encore.
Love,
Chelsea
