Flowing through her black-eyed stare

Insanity swirling in her eyes
Laughing with glee at their pain-filled cries

Her mind twisted and broken
Joyful at every sobbing plea spoken

Licking blood from her fingers
While the shadow in her mind lingers

Plunging the blade through skin and bone
Watching the crimson river flow down to the stone

The screams slowly fade away
And upon the soft earth they silently lay

Sitting with them tucked in her embrace
She sways to the music, tears running down her face

Bestowing cold kisses upon their heads,
She places them in their eternal beds

Forevermore they shall sleep
And everlasting tears she shall weep [comments] => 8 [counter] => 177 [topic] => 13 [informant] => JadedExistence [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Jaded, for a first this is perfection! The rhyming is excellent, the style superb... The darkness so DEEP and DESTROYING. You have definitely left your mark. :)
