It was I who filled you with fright
All the sounds that you heard,
And all those soft fluttered words
It was all me, as I sat as silent as a bird
I had watched you for hours,
And thought to myself
How easy I could pluck this little flower,
But I let you go instead
And continued to play with your head
I followed you to the beach
And thought about sucking your neck like a leach
But that would have been to easy
For I didn’t want you to see me
Not at this time,
So I tell you something that makes you cry
You begin to look around
Hoping to find someone there, as you’re ripping out your hair
Then you fall to the ground
And continue to look for sounds
Are you going crazy, you start to wonder
Maybe, but not likely
You rest your head upon your knees,
And you hands upon your feet
Then finally I come to you
And face to face we meet
You begin to tell me about the sounds, and the voices you heard
Then I tell you, maybe it was just a bird
You look deep into my eyes, as I read your mind
I hear your heart beat faster,
As you are breathing heavier
I smell your blood as your body becomes hot
Then I sink my teeth into my favorite spot
You begin to moan, and grab hold,
And your soul I now own
And a life of darkness you now live
As the crimson blood from your neck continues to drip
Your eyes become dark, and your heart becomes black
As icy chills no longer fill your back
You are the child of the night,
And soon you too will take a life

Good...Wes Craven is getting ideas from this!
I'll wait with 'baited' breath(pun intended) for the sequel.

o.k. I see you have succumbed to the Dark Child too!!!!!! LOLOLOL.

Ron, this is fantastic but now I have to call someone to come spend the night (good excuse huh?)

Thank you so much for this. Arden said it was only downhill to hell from here. Guess I am hooked now with one dark poem.

Don't forget, I am the vice-demon of the underworld, muhwaaaaaaaaaa

You drank my blood, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I love this and I love you for doing it, thanks so much.
