I knew that my soul had been set free
This light was not white,
But indeed it was red, crimson red
And in the shadows, I have seen many souls
Many souls, without stories told
My body had become cold
My eyes became dark, and as cold as steel
Some teeth were new, And to sharp to feel
My hunger was new,
As the thirst for blood grew
Then at this time, I knew, that I was not like you
I had the strength of ten men,
That just continued to grow stronger
As each body fell inside the grove, due to my hunger
I fell into a rage, and killed all in sight
Surely to say, that was a bloody night
I now hunt under the midnight sky,
And take precious lives, as they walk on by
It truly is an honor,
To see the fear in one’s eyes, just before they die
I am not someone to be challenged,
Or to be questioned
For the only answer you will get,
Is most certainly your death
I have ripped hearts from the depths of their chests
I have drawn blood till there was nothing left
I have manipulated minds, to get what I wanted
And I have looked deep into ones eyes
Only to see what lies inside
What am I some wonder, well you tell me
For most believe that we are nothing more,
Than a mystery [comments] => 8 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Rylo [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

You are just down right AWESOME!!!!! You take it home and bury the stake. God, I think we have created a new evil in the world. Help us, help us, please!!!!!!!!!

Arden, this is all your fault, you know, if you had left well enough alone this would never have happened. Bringing all this darkness into the world. I don't know what is getting into kids these days . . .
