The snow drifts gently to the ground.
Soft, large flakes like a gooses down.
Billowing playfully upon the wind.
Turning, rising in a graceful dance they descend.
Flitting like playful children in the soft safety of ignorance.
Oh, what joys in the falling snow one can find.
It is as a paradise absent of time.
How I long to stay in this peaceful place.
All too soon, it is over and the world we must face.
