As the little boy began to cry,
A tear escaped from his eye,
Why do these things occur,
No one can be sure.

The sky dark, full of rain,
Small boy, heart of pain,
The window to nowhere,
He will stay awhile and stare.

She is hurting, she has fears.
Maybe soon the pain will go away,
But also, I fear, it won't be today.

aww this is so sad.. but very, very good.. i really like the simplicity within each line, it seems to make the whole subject and message even more powerful.. good stuff..
