sit down at the table
You get what you can,
while your able

The night they came over,
it would be a fight
Because for supper,
it's pork chop night

You see those chops,
with potatoes and gravy
Just have a taste,
that will drive you crazy

When we sat down to eat,
a thunderstorm came
But that very last chop,
was my only aim

As we all ate like pigs,
I sat in my seat
Now everythings gone,
but one piece of meat

I looked at them
and they looked at me
Can I get their first?,
will just have to see

With a crack of thunder
and the lights off like a pop
I reached with my fork,
to get that last chop

When the lights came back on,
I knew I was the man
Because all that they got,
was their forks in my hand
