Every word comes with a price
Pain of memory in a voice
Abandoned or scratched out
Weakened by despairing losses
Excitement seeps away like blood
Taste absolution in a kiss
Caress the page with gentle words
Seeking pleasure once again
Incantations fall from the pen
Words turn into tender verse
Pulses quicken in the dark
Knowing you are who you are
Rest your head awhile and dream
I make no demands or girlish pleas
We danced with this idea awhile
Held at arms length too long
Understanding what we want
Knowing calamity in love
Enjoying carnal pleasure dear
It is what we are all about

So sad and telling. Endings are so difficult. They can go on forever. Another incredible write. You just get better and better.

Very sage. Well stated. Yes, our relationships are exactly what we make them. Some are just for a little while, hopefully one comes around that will be forever.

beautifully written as always, gaille, this one leaves me with a tear, i dont know why, *reads again* i guess that because words have so much power, and lame letters and notes can cause so much pain if we allow it, ppl go on with their lives and the net makes them feel we are unreal in someway, although for you and i, we are genuine, not all are and we sit heart broken, bha, ill hush, hugs n' love ya, nessa
