Array ( [sid] => 44808 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => One Day.... I Became [time] => 2004-04-25 19:05:55 [hometext] => A troubled childhood... an unknown father, always left me somewhat bewildered. [bodytext] => Somewhere years ago, two people touched....and I became
flesh and a soul, in what is known as...life's game.
But, I only knew half the puzzle, half of what was me,
my mind was always searching, for what I couldn't see.

The void displayed much sadness, even sometimes anger grew,
I wanted to know...what only a handful of other's knew.
Was what I felt justified, was it better left unknown,
even though it followed me...as I became a woman grown?

All the little bits and pieces that never seemed to fit,
caused my mind to often wonder, many nights alone I'd sit
trying to see an image, was there more than...I just became?
Would this flicker in my heart become a brighter flame?

The puzzle was never solved, not enough to satisfy,
as my dreams and life seem to quickly fly.
Never felt the feeling of where i rightly did belong,
perhaps it's now in my poems and someone's written song.

But did I give enough of me to others in my life's many trials?
Were they content with my love and willing smiles?
I really tried to show a perfect picture...no matter the broken frame,
I felt that there was more to me than, one day I just became.

June, I am so sorry you have that empty spot inside you. Always questioning and wondering. My heart is with you.
