Days seem so slow
Seems to be no flow
There’s a relentless sun
That only burns and is no fun
Am stuck in the 60’s
Still stuck with the sounds of generation that’s gone by
Don’t know if that’s strange
Or if there’s anyone else on this strange trip
Jimi’s alcohol soaked voice still sings
And that strat still plays on here
35 years have gone by
and the songs still play on
Folks don’t talk these days
They live in a tiny world of buttons and fake messages
You’re surrounded by a sea of humanity that’s donning masks
That thrives on things that supposedly is meant to bring you that peace
Does it…will it ever?
But the music still plays on………………………………………………

The music plays on.
Good thing, too, because I live for it.
Great write.
Bravo and encore.
Love,
Chelsea
