[hometext] => Let no American forget-The heros who have died-For it is by their very blood-Our freedom is supplied
[bodytext] => ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pat Tillman Today the nation mourns Every soldier who has died in this war And as the days go by No doubt we’ll mourn so many more They come from all backgrounds Every corner, every place But today one has died Who gives every soldier a familiar face His name was Pat Tillman Who once played in the N.F.L. He played as he did everything With all he had and played it well But when his nation was attacked He, as many, chose to stand tall Turning his back on fame and fortune Without hesitation answered freedoms call Now he as all the others Comes home to take his rest To be remembered by all Americans As one of our best There are no great words of comfort No wisdom to take the pain away Perhaps it will be enough The flag flies free today Russ Pergram [comments] => 1 [counter] => 276 [topic] => 37 [informant] => Lone_er [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ThankYouPoems )
