Shaken quite free of that littler me,
Who stpped me from giving;
Only living to be pacified and fed;
She demanded such constant attention;
Needy, greedy, aching always for more,
Just taking, and so full of pretension,
That I壇 dread her getting close, ever morose;
But tonight she went out the door;
Has gone to do voluntary work overseas,
And will return no more, to badger or tease;
So now I am free; I am a woman;
As you can see,
There is a beauty in me;
You can see by my eyes,
Or the length of my thighs;
The colour in my lips;
By the shape of my hips;
I can be your lover without faking;
A good friend in the making;
A new me.

I知 a big girl now.
I have worked through the pain,
That again and again got in between
What I said and what I did;
I知 no longer a kid; I am strong;
I am where I belong, safe inside;
Certain of who I am and what I mean;
Without need to hide;. I am true
To myself as I will be to you; I can bend;
Be your friend; stay till the end of the show;
Not get up and go when you need me there;
But stay. Show that I care; For I am a woman;
As you can see,
You can put trust in me;
I can love you dearly,
And accept you, clearly;
I can hold you tight;
Dry your tears in the night;
I can give without taking;
A mother in the making;
A new me.
