The light and heat are a comfort
Shallow breath from lungs that need
Deep in and out stability.

Lick the scab to ease the pain
The soft up and down a tremendous release
Laugh out in defeat with a crippled diaphram
The pressure and ease a novelty.

Somwhere, someone grins favorably
The blinding and perfect treasure
Slippery fingers reach for solid quicksand
The naked earth shifts and then settles radiantly.

Faith in one kiss
And then it was beautiful
Beliefs in handfuls of nothingness
And then it was beautiful
Complain of danger in a solitary existance
And then it was beautiful
Tragic destruction and reconciliation
And now we can be beautiful. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 184 [topic] => 21 [informant] => strange_lindsey [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

A love story all too common. I really love the last stanza. So much said in so few words. The whole history of a love in 8 short lines. Such is life.
