The guards stand tall
For this castle has to be protected

This castle used to be open
To the public at no cost
But now very few may enter

Why, Why did this have to happen?
When and How?
The answer is simple

This castle will not be burned again
If you have the keys you may enter
If not walk away

Good use of metaphor, Angel!
I hope you have found someone who has learned to use the keys to your heart :)

I love castles. You know castles were commisioned in the past by kings as strongholds for land and security. They were basically a world within a world. The way they were built was simply fascinating. The way they fell just as much so.

Enjoyed your poem and loved the ending. The last two lines were great.
