Walking through the valley of shadows
I look in the reflection on the wall of the mountainside
There I see wings of a fallen angel
Bound to live immortally on this hell of a rock
To the plains of non-existence I’d rather be,
Oceans of blackness, seas of dark
My scales of solemn aptitude brings chaos

This was so good I held my breath. Oh how I wished it had been longer.
Very unique the way you expressed this poem.

cryptic, dreamy... short and sharp-lived imagery in this, quite captivating. lovely write.... ;0)
