A glance from across the room
A hand reaching out
From the person you love without a doubt
When opposites attract, you're exactly the same
Whether hatred or love, the feeling can't be tamed
The confusion settles thick, like a blanket of snow
Desperate to find answers that neither one knows
A gentle touch and a loving smile
Bring back sweet memories that only stay for a while
You hate him, then you love him
You're in denial
You think it's coincidence, but maybe it's fate
And love is what happens when you run out of things to hate.

this was one of the better love poems ive read. i gave up on most love poems because i felt they were too mushy and out of touch with reality. but this one doesnt bother me. its a really nice write. good job. |
