Over the years, it seemed
Friendship is all about lending pens
All about lending notes
All about lending money
Friendship is just to get your own work done
It's just really very funny....
But how wrong can I get
For this is not true
And when I think about the past and the way I thought
I just regret it and feel all blue
For friendship is a cherished blessing
Which can be maintained with only the precious few
I've learned so much now
This was something I never knew
Friendship is forever
To be together till the end
And I know a person like this will come in my life, probably has
That'll only be my friend...

So true, The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship. Its the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship.
Excellent write. |
