[title] => Sit On Your Throne
[time] => 2004-04-23 09:33:04
[hometext] => This poem is about what love means to society these days, and the superiority that one person can have if another has fallen for them:
[bodytext] => Sit on your throne, I lie aching limbs at your feet, Swallow insecurity, Let it tear me apart. Saw the jagged dreams somewhere inbetween, The edges reminded me, Of the blade you drag across this pulsating mind, It rests at nothing- Carved into knuckles of eternity. And as you play that facade as if it's soldered onto your face, Remember those slashes were marked, With your tongue, These scars I wear, Were the greatest gift you chose to give. Just sit on your throne, And I'll lie here with my aching limbs at your feet.
