Fabrizio Quattrocchi, Hero Hail!
Assassinated by thug murderer
And coward kidnappers, you did not quail
Before the barbarous bandits in their lair.

Jewel you are! - Italia be proud!
Remember evermore his martyrdom!
Authentic, genuine martyrdom that showed
The world true sacrifice piaculum

No deal, no truce with devils, lo! - no deal!
Who deals with devils will come to regret
Ignore the lure, enticement shrill and chill
Malheur who falls into the devil’s net

Fabrizio Hail! for you did boldly stare
Into their murder eyes and did defy,
And asked the your barbarous executioners
To save the hood and look into your eye

And you dear Alice sweet of Genoa,
Your friend showed how Italian heroes die!
He won’t forget you, nor Italia,
But send his blessings forth from heaven high.

Lord Jesus make the brave Fabtizio
Protector angel of his earthly kin,
And let his martyr’s crown bright shine and glow
Within your loving Savior heart, AMEN

Fabrizio was the Italian hostage executed by terrorists. He tore the hood off and asked his executioner to look him into the eye.

This touched my heart and was so tragic. A loss that could have been prevented. Thank you for sharing this with us.
