Array ( [sid] => 44202 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => my sweet ever-children [time] => 2004-04-21 22:29:01 [hometext] => just something that started in my head today. i guess it's psychotic, i don't know. [bodytext] => i spill my seed
in her dark garden
she bears me only dead fruit
dead fruit that i exhume
and hang, bleeding, from the Tree
(for all the world to see
stay away from me)

their coffin-world
so suffocating
so i hang them to free them
because i love them
and they dance in the breeze
like little blue wind chimes

all our children are dead
dead and beautiful

some of them live
but never for long
and then they join their brothers and sisters
to dance in the Potter's Tree

(put it away
put it down
shove it back down inside
it's never gonna change
always gonna be this way
i am the sterile anti-god
and her womb is a tomb)

feeding
feeding on the limbs
but not the ones made of wood
feeding
feeding on the dead
(they're bloodless
it's not messy)
just like you always knew i would

my children are rainbows
and i am devouring the sky

(behind my teeth
curled on my tongue
the flesh of death
flesh of my young
i eat and reproduce them
into the same dead seed again
into her womb
that dank damned tomb
and hang them from the Tree again)

the stars in my heaven
the joys of my life
my sweet ever-children
and my darling dead wife [comments] => 5 [counter] => 185 [topic] => 59 [informant] => Cancer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => psychoticpoems )
