I reached for my razor, my one remaining friend
I thought it was over, I thought it was done
But feelings are too strong and again the habit has won
Twenty three lines in the inside of my left arm
The cuts are like before, no need to be alarmed
The red shows up and is again flowing free
I guess I was wrong, this really is me
The hurt and sorrow has again returned
Maybe it's a lesson I still have yet to learn
I become numb as I start to leave it all
The end returns and off the cave I fall
I've killed my feelings yet another time
As it becomes clear that love will never be mine
I can consume all the lust in the world
Becoming to them just another f*c*ed up girl
My mind's too deep and your's too shallow
But your feelings are deep as mine remain hollow
Blood stained arms, razors, and towels
This is my way, I don't care if you're not proud
My shirts, my bed, my watch, my arms
Are all stained with red, just like the heart that's been harmed
I feel the stinging as the blood rises
But it's nothing new, maybe to you a suprise
And again rock bottom is where I hit
Why now after two months of not doing it
Two months was too long and I was bound to break
I guess not cutting was my biggest mistake. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 275 [topic] => 13 [informant] => CuttersAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

You know, it's the same with any addiction. I've been there and fallen down myself. There is nothing to do but get up again. Your words reveal your feelings well. Keep writing. It helps.
