The pleasure of the game is real
Fulfilled in tactile tempest dreams
Placing me within your reach
I call your name sometimes in sleep
Before you turn my way again
With dreams we can both embrace
What lies in front of us unsure
Even if there is an "us" at all
But certain that I have found
Volatile expressions of passion
Minute by minute longing
Wanting what you offer me
Counting down the minutes
Until the ending eulogy
Bids us good-bye, ado, farewell
Alas tides turn in mystery
Our empty words drowned out
By wind and rain and history
Nothing to say - so we are silent
Steeped in lover’s quietude
Our world revolves around me and you

You paint these pictures so vividly. So true to how it really feels at that moment. The emotion of it wells up in my throat.

The picture was a perfect match for this poem. It was soft, beautiful and wonderfully romantic. I thought an excellent title for this would have been "Lover's Quietude". It is a great poem and I hung on every word.

The image and the words just seem to flow into each other a beautiful reflective write.
